[THANKS, JASMINE. Not that she's surprised. Honestly, she hadn't even planned on asking any of them about it.]
Maybe that's for the best. [Not that their sisters need to be kept in the dark about horses, but this is way too suspicious, and she doesn't want them getting caught up in something weird like this.] Do you have that weird app on your phone too now? Retrospec or something?
It's better they don't get mixed up in this. [A rare moment of agreement between them without any tension.
She clicks back out of the call just to verify the presence of the mysterious app, which, true to its nature, has refused to let itself be removed from her phone for long.]
[She sighs, having hoped that maybe Jasmine would've figured out a way to get rid of the app. She doesn't think her little sister's that into tech, but she can admit (if only to herself) that between the two of them, Jasmine's the smarter one.]
I just don't get it. The app just looks like your regular social media shit, but there's gotta be some connection between it and the stuff we remembered.
That's probably by design. A social media application seems innocuous enough, and if pressed, they can say it's working the way it's supposed to be. It's connecting people.
[She's either been thinking about this a lot or spends a lot of time trying to think like evil corporations in an effort to dismantle them.]
It bugs me that this has been going on for so long.
And we had no idea. No one does until they get the app. I guess that's why they don't have to worry about anyone questioning them in the first place.
[No one knows or cares until they get it, and even then, given how this is all still going on, no one knows enough to get rid of Instrospec regardless.]
Yeah, and we've lived here forever. [It's different, she thinks, for people who moved here as children or adults. They could feasibly be called outsiders, so it would make sense that they were different somehow or had been pulled into this by some outside forces.
She can't remember a time when this city wasn't her home, for better or for worse.] I'm going to see if they have any public records filed when I'm at work.
Let me know if you find something. I'll try asking around too. [Not that she really has the same kind of helpful connections that Jasmine does... But she might as well try to offer something here.]

Despite my best efforts, yes.

[She pauses, just long enough that she might have already hung up the phone.]
Rose. Look at for those "side effects."

[And then she ends the call.]
